Recently I was fortunate enough to head South to Ocean Industries recording studio in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Ocean Industries is the studio owned by Shinedown bassist Eric Bass and ran by engineer / mixer Eric Rickert. It's a nice spot with a great sounding live room and some killer outboard gear.

We finished tracking for the drums - performed (mostly) by drummer Russell Lee - and I also tracked my rhythm guitar's for what will become the new Holloway record.

Eric and Russell were both super fun to work with and I had a blast. Now that the skeleton to the new record is complete and there are some bones to flesh out we can begin adding all the goodies like lead guitar, bass, vocals and synths in the coming months.
